2011 Ladies League Schedule
Vintage Ladies League - 9 Holes
Tuesdays
May 3 - August 16, 2011
Welcome and thank you for choosing to play at Vintage. We hope
you have a great time here and if you have any suggestions to
help us improve please let us know.
- This is strictly a social league and you may play at anytime
on Tuesdays. You must play with at least one other league member
so your score can be attested to.
- Your $35.00 league fee will go toward prizes for Ringer Board,
Club Championship and the banquet at the end of the season.
- $2.00 Event Fee must be paid for every league round of golf
including makeup rounds. This money is used for event prizes
each week as well as Birdie Tree and other prizes at end of
season.
- The first 2 weeks of play will be to establish a course
handicap for you. We will calculate and update your handicap
each week. Please remember to sign, date and turn in your
scorecard at the front counter when you finish play. Please use
full name as we have several ladies with same first name.
- Make-up rounds. If you miss a week you can make up your game
BEFORE the following week of league. You must golf with another
league member. You must pay your $2.00 event fee. You may take
part in the event for that week unless it is a skills event
(long drive, long putt etc.). Be sure to circle birdies and
update the ringer board.
- We will play 9 holes each week alternating between the front
and back nine.
- Event for each week will be posted on the bulletin board.
Event winner will be posted the following week.
- Circle all birdies on you score card. For each birdie your
name will be posted on the birdie tree and you will receive
$2.00 per birdie to be paid at end of golf season. Be sure to
circle all birdies on your score card.
- We will have a ringer board. We will post scores for the first
2 weeks. After that you will be responsible for posting your
scores. If you don’t know how, please ask how to score the
ringer board.
- Rules of golf and regulations will apply during all play.
Please count all strokes where you have made contact with the
ball. If you swing and totally miss the ball “whiff” you do not
have to count it as a stroke. There are no “do-overs” even if
your ball goes only a few inches. Must count it as a stroke.
- 10 strokes is the maximum counted per hole. You may finish the
hole when you reach 10 but only record 10 on your score card.
- There are no “gimmies” in league play. Must stoke the ball
until it goes in the cup.
- There will be a club championship at the end of the season
based on handicap. You must post at least 7 league scores to
qualify.
Thanks for being here! HAVE FUN!
